The journey of DYP (Discovering Your Purpose) began long before it became an institution—it started as a calling.

In 2010, our founder began mentoring and speaking to young people, passionately sharing messages of purpose and identity on talk shows, radio programs, television, and through powerful written articles.

For over a decade, this work continued—quietly impacting lives, one voice, one platform at a time.

But in 2023, a divine shift occurred. God stirred a deep conviction in our founder’s heart: it was time to structure the vision, to build something that would outlive moments and create lasting movements.

And so, DYP was born—a purpose-driven organization built on the firm belief that:

Our Founder

Meet Pastor Tim Udodi—affectionately known as PT—a visionary leader, dynamic communicator, and ordained minister with over a decade of transformative pastoral and leadership experience. He has shepherded three thriving churches across diverse regions, leaving an indelible mark on every community he touches.

PT’s passion burns brightest when he's empowering the next generation. With a rare gift for connection and clarity, he has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences—both religious and secular—impacting audiences in over 10 nations across 4 continents.

He is the inspiring host of the Discovering Your Purpose monthly seminar and the voice behind the Young and Rich podcast. A prolific writer, his acclaimed article “5 Practical Steps to Achieving Your Goals” sold over 1,800 copies within just two months of its release, igniting purpose and action in countless readers.

Beyond the pulpit, PT is a creative entrepreneur. He is the CEO and Founder of ZoE Branding and the co-founder of ZUF Deluxe, a rising force in fashion innovation.

Above all, he is a devoted husband and father, thriving in the richness of a beautiful family life that reflects the values he so passionately teaches.

Achieving Balance – Empowering University Students to Thrive

Achieving Balance marked our first in-person university seminar in Buea—and it was a powerful success.

Held on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, at the Creative Institute in Molyko, the event brought together over 150 university students for a day of practical wisdom, inspiration, and purpose-driven learning.

With a dynamic panel of three seasoned speakers, the seminar was designed to equip students with the tools to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and entrepreneurially, all while maintaining excellence in their academic journey—hence the name Achieving Balance.

From the heartfelt stories to the actionable insights shared, the atmosphere was rich with learning and transformation. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students leaving encouraged, empowered, and better prepared to navigate the complex demands of student life.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to hosting even more impactful sessions like this in the near future.

Purpose-Fest 2024 – A Day of Impact and Inspiration

The first edition of Purpose-Fest was nothing short of extraordinary—an unforgettable gathering filled with energy, hope, and life-changing moments.

On Saturday, August 24th, 2024, we welcomed over 350 secondary school students in Muea, Buea, with one clear mission: to help young minds discover their purpose, embrace their unique identity, and ignite a passion for living meaningful and successful lives.

The atmosphere was electric with hope and inspiration as we prayed, worshipped, taught, and shared powerful testimonies. Every session was crafted to plant seeds of vision and belief in each student's heart.

As a grand finale, we distributed back-to-school materials to over 300 students, ensuring they were not just motivated—but equipped. More than 200 students also received copies of the life-shaping book Discovering Your Purpose by J. Ncha 1.

Their joy was radiant, their hope renewed, and the impact undeniable. Purpose-Fest 2024 was more than an event—it was the beginning of a new chapter for hundreds of young lives.

Purpose Fest Buea 2.0 - Where Excellence & Impact Met

This December, over 210+ young people in Buea gathered at the Eta Palace Hotel Banquet Hall for a powerful time of transformation.

This edition of Purpose Fest was themed:

“From Confusion to Claruty, and from Clarity to Impact.”

From the talent showcases, intense prayers, deep, practical teachings by our panelists, to the signature Impartation session, participants were truly fed a balanced diet—both mentally and spiritually.

In addition, hundreds of free copies of the book Discovering Your Purpose were distributed to participants, further equipping them for clarity and direction.

Indeed, this marks the beginning of a new era of impact in the lives of everyone who attended.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friends, partners, volunteers, and intercessors whose prayers, support, and generosity made this vision a reality.
